Kate lives in Queens (it has better food options than Manhattan, to start) with her husband (an exceptional cook and sommelier) and volunteers as a mentor for young professionals. She enjoys playing the piano, distance hiking, furniture restoration and spending time with her extended family and close friends.
Deeply inspired by examples of resilience and character, Kate embraces inclusive leadership while owning decisions as an executive. Specializing in storytelling, employee engagement & empowerment and brand placement in top tier media markets around the globe, Kate has a history and love of working for mission-driven brands with colleagues and professionals who are motivated by core values.
Her work history includes leadership positions at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Archdiocese of New York, a successful congressional campaign and working as a reporter in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Thomas More College of Liberal Arts with a BA in philosophy and grew up in Bourbon country -- Nelson County, Kentucky.
Fortunately for their marriage, Stephen also lives in Queens with Kate, who happens to be an exceptional cook as well (and yes, overall the restaurants are far better than Manhattan).

Fortunately for their marriage, Stephen also lives in Queens with Kate, who happens to be an exceptional cook as well (and yes, overall the restaurants are far better than Manhattan).
The experience Stephen has gained over the years doesn’t fit easily into any defined category. Among other things, he has worked at one of the world's largest brokerage firms as a VP in Finance on a commodities trading floor specializing in Foreign Exchange, Precious Metals and Oil trading; a Business and Tour Manager for a major label female singer/songwriter who placed 7 songs in the Top 10 of the Billboard AC charts; an Audio Engineer on documentary films throughout Southeast Asia and Africa; an Event Producer in the former Soviet Union during the time of the coup which saw Mikhail Gorbachev removed from power; Wine Director at one of NYC’s best restaurants; strategic consultant to Commercial Real Estate owners on complex tax issues; and a Regional Director for Legatus, a Catholic fraternal organization of CEO’s and Presidents of mid to large size businesses.
What makes this varied experience cohesive are two things: assisting mission-driven people and organizations realize their dreams and an understanding that, while there are peculiarities in different industries, the core beliefs of successful people and businesses are the same across all disciplines.
